Bliss Hotel Johor Bahru

Hie peeps! So my recent work took me all the way down south to the state just north of Singapore which is Johor of course.Was actually wondering around looking for a hotel to stay and spotted this colourful hotel by the name of BLISS HOTEL along Jalan Maju .You cant miss it from the main street as its sure to grab your attention.

This is the facade of BLISS Hotel.How not to miss it right? Yes it all looks happy from the outside and is sure to promise you utter bliss while staying here.And I checked online,their Designer Single Room was RM 98 which was advertised and was pretty good value I thought.

The blissfulness continues into the reception area where you are greeted by beautiful looking sofas which has a very upmarket feel to it.

Unfortunately the blissfulness stops right there! First the price which was advertised which was supposed to be RM 98 is not actually RM 98 but RM 113 which the receptionist told me was due to the 16% GST.Come on lah,normally all these budget hotel,you advertise RM 69 means RM 69 lah! What nonsense is this? I have never stayed at a budget hotel which advertised RM 98 but end up paying more than that.

Yea I know they said that the rooms are subjected to 10% service charge and 6% tax but why cant you just include that in the price as all budget hotels do?

No,not even this special touch panel on the lift dint bring back the blissfullness in me.The disappointment dint end there.

I thought well,I payed RM 113 I better be getting a cosy fantastic room! But lo and behold,when I stepped into my room 1138 ,it was like I was staying in a RM 50 dollar room.Yes theres the LCD TV,the aircon and the toilet.But a tiny single bed was all they offered for RM 113?!!

Unfortunately I dint take any pictures of the room.The toilet walls were painted,therefore the new hotel looked old as water had eaten into the paint hence the paint from the walls were coming out.And somehow the room just felt very very cheap! I have stayed in nicer hotels in JB and it only costs RM 69.This was a total ripoff.

THe only saving grace was that they served breakfast but that alone dint warrant the RM 113 price .Well,this will probably be the first and last time staying here.

Woke up to a nice peaceful Wednesday morning only to find out that this happened!

Looks like Empire subang was attacked by terrorist right? But nolar apparently a gas piping exploded and caused this utter destruction as you can see here.

Basically the 1st and 2nd floor were almost ripped to smithereens! So the authorities have decided to close the mall pending further investigation.

Looks like someone can start looking for a new job soon!

Pavillion Hotel Kuantan

On my recent trip to Kuantan, I managed to stay at this hotel that sounds similar to a prominent shopping mall in KL.

Its called Pavillion Hotel.

After staying there for a few nights,its easily the best budget hotel in the whole of Kuantan.Just take a look at the washroom.It feels better than a 5 star hotel.

There's a 32 inch SONY LCD Tv and they even provide a Sony Blu-Ray DVD player! How cool is that?

And the bed is so damn comfy ,I could sleep there all day long.The pillow and comforter were just perfect.

Look UP! They could even fit in a rain shower for our usage.And boy this hotel has rooms on par if not better than a 5 star hotel!

And guess what,the best thing is it only costs RM 88 per night for the single room.All rooms come with wifi and breakfast!

Do try out this hotel while you are in Kuantan.

The Spaghetti Farm - MidValley

So we were in Midvalley thinking what to have for dinner when we spotted this brightly lit shop aptly named The Spaghetti Farm.

From the outside it looked like it had everything it could offer to make our spaghetti experience an interesting one.So we quickly hopped in to try out their "Wholesome Italian Food".

To cut the long story short,this is probably the worst and I repeat WORST place to have spaghetti.The spaghetti was super super lousy and tasteless. The mushroom soup is even worse than the ones in Pizza Hut.

I almost wanted to demand a refund of my RM 12 for the DOGFOOD.Yes,it was served in bowls and it really looked like food for dogs.It was not even worth RM0.01.

I could see so many people leaving half of the bowls of spaghetti on the table and left without finishing them.I don't understand how someone can open up such a nicely designed shop in Midvalley but produce one of the most horrible spaghetties on planet earth!

Please people,boycott this place!!! Don't get fooled by their WHOLESOME ITALIAN FOOD crap!

Hie peeps,I know,its been a long time I blogged.Crazy work schedules,travelling around Malaysia are just some of the excuses but hey ,at least I am back at it again right?

My work frequently takes me to the East Coast of Malaysia.Let me tell you,its actually a pretty nice and relaxing place for holidaying with their beautiful beaches and other activities which you can do all day long.

And my favourite budget hotel whenever I travel to Kuantan for work has got to be Seasons View located very nearby Kuantan Parade.

For first timers,it might be a lil bit difficult to find the hotel,but just follow the signboard and you will get there in no time.

The huge sign greets you as soon as you step into the lobby of the hotel.

Even the lobby is a nice place to be in.

For RM 128/night ,what you get is a tastefully decorated room like this.Yes and its just RM 128/night for the standard room! Its just like staying in a 5 star hotel minus all those extras.For that price I get a queen size bed and a single bed.Due to the fact that they did not have anymore RM 98 rooms,I had to get the RM 128 room which in my opinion is pretty good value for money too!

And for that price,you get breakfast included for 3 persons too!

Everything is where it should be.Everything has that soft brown touches to it.Feels warm and cozy.And to top it off,the wifi is fast!

Toilets are spanking clean !!

Overall,this budget hotel has to be rated as one of the best in Kuantan. It really is great rooms at such affordable prices.

But please book early to avoid disappointments as the RM 98 room is often fully booked.

Its been pretty long since I started doing Prudential.Things have been going smoothly so far.But many people have been asking me,what is the importance of a medical card and why should they get it?

Well ,let me use the story below to illustrate what a medical card can do to your life.

Lets start with John.John is 26 years old and is an accountant in KL.He is earning roughly RM 2500 a month.More than enough to eat and sleep.John starts saving RM 500 a month to get married in 5 years time.So he would have saved up RM 30,000 in 5 years time.

After 5 years,John already has RM 30,000 in his bank account.All of a sudden,life is not all sweet anymore.John is diagnosed with high blood pressure.Consulting a specialist,John requires a surgery for the artery.John's artery is stuck due to cholesterol.It's quite normal due to the lifestyle of a young working adult,consuming "mamak " food and working most of the time,John definately has not enough time to exercise.

Just got news of the new TM UniFi prices!

A summary of the packages are as below:

5mbps – RM149 (60GB monthly cap)
10mbps – RM 199 (90GB monthly cap)
20mbps – RM249 (120GB monthly cap)

To be honest,it is quite expensive for what we get and to make matters worse is the silly monthly bandwidth quota!!

On the positive side,all packages are inclusive of a DECT phone, a premise gateway (the modem/router) and a Set-Top-Box (STB).There is also free calls to all TM fixed lines nationwide and a very low flat rate of RM0.10 per minute calls to mobile phones and other operators nationwide.

However I am sure TM will revise the package prices once this service is fully available nationwide.For now we have to bear with our slowband.

Happy Birthday IZ! I know this post is late,but at least I put in some effort to post it up right?

It din't take us too long to choose the place to have our nice little dinner.It was none other than Tony Romas!

Yes ,the baby back ribs here are awesome!

But before that all came to past,I presented her with her Prezzie she has been waiting and longing all day long.

Can you imagine that? Someone keep banging ur door asking,what is my Prezzie? Lolz,nolah just kidding!

Once she got her prezzie,she being the ferocious bunny din't just tear it apart,instead she politely pulled each corner of the prezzie apart.

It was as though she was undoing her shoe laces.It was a work of art.

Her expression on her face reminded me of my little brother's face when he just couldn't contain his excitement upon receiving his present.However,he would just rip the wrapping of it,and cuddle his present with all his might.

Tada! After spending 1349382 seconds opening her present,she finally sees it with all its glory!

Luckily for me,she likes & needs it.

IZ happily parading her "ROCK ME" to everyone in Tony Romas.Just look at her expression,priceless!

It just melted in my mouth,and the sight of beef juice rolling down IZ's lips while she munched on every single piece of beef left me wondering whether she had not eaten in years!

IZ being a bunny,opted for salad.But unlike other bunnies,this was a carnivorous salad as it had chicken meat topped with mayo and bleu cheese.

It also tasted as fantastic as it looked!

Last but not least, since it was IZ b'day,we got a special brownie with ice-cream OTH(On The House).Means free laaa...

Ok,its been ages since I last used Bahasa Malaysia,so I will try to use BM for this post OK? ok..here it goes..

Beberapa minggu lepas,tayar saya pancit.Ini disebabkan oleh paku yang telah membuat satu lubang pada tayarku.

Paku itu amat besar,jadi ia amat sukar untuk dikeluarkan.

Mechanic di Pusat Honda itu memberitahu bahawa lubang itu sangatttttt besar,jadi dia tidak mampu untuk membaikinya.

Akibatnya,saya terpaksa menukar tayar di Pusat Servis Honda kerana tiada "workshop" yang boleh tukar tayar Honda yang bersaiz pelik ini!.Bukan itu saja,malah kos untuk tukar satu biji tayar itu mencecah RM 300 sebiji.

Tambahan itu,saya terpaksa menunggu di Pusat Servis selama 4 jam kerana orang Honda itu terpaksa "order" tayar dari tempat luar.Ini memakan masa yang sangat sangat lama!

Inilah habuk habuk yang pelik berwarna hitam saya dijumpai dalam tayarku.Saya pun tidak pasti apakah benda itu.

Habuk yang telah dikumpulkan di bawah tayar saya.Kesian tayarku yang baru 15345km pada masa itu.

Nah,inilah habuk yang saya telah "zoom-kan" untuk penelitian sekalian.Bolehkah kawan-kawan sekalian bagi tau saya apakah benda ini.

Luna Bar....again

Hie peeps,I know its been a long time since I updated,yea you know I have been busy with so many things I hardly have the time to eat.

That explains how I lost 1 kg in 1 month.It's not that easy to lose weight ya know..

Anyhow,recently IZ and her friends came up with this brilliant idea of visiting Luna Bar since none of them have been there.

In fact it was ladies night! That means,all the ladies not only get to go in for free,they get a free drink too!

So since I was the only one who has been there,I gracefully brought them there to enjoy the splendid view and savour the beer which at that time was still on "happy hour".

These are the girls.One is adjusting her hair while the other is playing sms.

This is the beer that we ordered.Even though "happy hour" was only till 9pm,we still managed to get the HO rates at 9.03pm after some discussion with the waitress.But we were limited to only ONE bucket.

Beer was pretty good and refreshing which prepared us for a long relaxing night!

After a hectic day at work,you just want to sit back and relax,so these pole dancers suddenly came up on stage to provide that tonic we needed so badly.

They even walked around asking strangers to join them in pole-dancing!

Well,I can confidently say that they were pretty good at gyrating and making full use of the steel pole!

These were the people who were the toast of the night.Why? Cause they arrived late lorr...actually got another reason ,but I am barred from stating in my post by certain parties.

The Petronas Twin Towers stand majestically in the background! This is one of the many reasons why many still flock to Luna Bar.

For once I feel proud of the Malaysian Football team! They have finally won the GOLD medal in today's final match with Vietnam!

After 20 years of waiting,this was the perfect tonic to improve confidence within the team.

To be honest,these group of young lads showed spirit ,determination and the mental strength to battle their way past mighty Thailand and then beating Vietnam 1-0 albeit courtesy of an own goal.

But whatever it is,I for once salute you guys!

How To Handle Girls Well

I write this not because I am too free or because I like to write,but all because I just feel that I have to let people know the secrets of handling the most mysterious species on earth-GIRLS.

And since I have learned something this past few months , I decided that it would not be fair had I not share it.

You see, I hear alot of people complaining that they cannot get along with their other half due to miscommunication,misunderstanding and a whole lot of other misses.

This is because we as GUYS,(Yes I am talking to all the guys now) fail to analyze and read the situation well.

So here are a few simple steps to improving your relationship

1. Be A Good Listener

You see,girls like to talk.And to talk,they cannot be talking to themselves,so they need to talk to somebody.But talking about something personal is never going to involve parents,so where do they turn to? Their boyfriends of course.

So basically we have to listen even when we are not in the mood to listen.This means the female species can talk anywhere ,anytime ,anyhow!We JUST have to LISTEN!

So it means when we are watching our favourite football team in action,and she suddenly brings up a topic from nowhere,we just have to listen(pretending to listen is better than not listening at all).

So when she goes "Are You listening anot?" .You just have to answer with a simple "Yes Dear,my ears are wide open"

This can happen anywhere,in the car,in the kitchen,in the church,in the storeroom etc etc..

Sometimes I understand that it is hard to always fill our ears with noises even more so after a long day at work,but we just have to practice and work hard on listening to our other half.

When we listen,they feel contented!As simple as ABC.

2. Don't Be A Problem Solver

Based on my experience and female feedback,girls do not like to see guys solving problems more so their boyfriends.All they want is to be listened and listened!

Before this,there was a girl who told me all her problems which took about 30 minutes.So I offered a solution thinking that it was a good escape tactic! But instead of thanking me,she continued her long winded story for another god knows how long.

Dumbfounded,I asked her why is she bringing it up again as I already offered her a solution.Her answer was simple

"I just want you to listen,you don't have to solve it"

Well,if I have known earlier I wouldnt have cracked my head for a solution! Arggggghh!

3. We Always Have To Figure Out What Girls Are Trying To Say

I recently read an article about a research that states that women with bigger breasts are not necessarily less intelligent than those who are less endowed.

Quoting a Singapore newspaper report,they found that women with bigger breasts were found to be smarter compared to women with smaller breasts.

It also said that a study in Chicago was carried out to find out whether the size of the a woman's bust affected her brain power.

The study involving 1200 women was conducted by a female researcher.The subjects were divided in five groups from extra small to extra big.

The report said it was possible such women were smarter due to the higher level of female hormones that could result in better development in the brain.

I just got this email recently and thought it was worth sharing with you guys.Some ppl may find it offensive ,but I think its just another wonder of nature.

As you can see ,these peppers are actually called 'Peter Peppers'.It has been labelled as the world's most offensive looking plant.

My curiousity made me dig more info about this pepper and not surprisingly,more weird info popped up.

It’s been called many other names, including Chilli Willy and Penis Chilli; and has been judged “Most Pornographic Pepper” by Organic Gardening Magazine.

Not surprising, since it looks like so: Apparently it has always been grown more as an ornamental thing, rather than to be eaten, although it’s perfectly edible.

By the way, a farmer who specialises in growing them, says they can grow up to 18″ long!

Flying Chillies?

Decided to have dinner the other day.Not knowing where to go,IZ suddenly popped the idea of Flying Chillies in The Gardens.

So off we went in search of it.After getting lost for a while,we finally found it and quickly got ourselves a seat.

The restaurant exudes a brilliant warm ambience,while the waitress greets you in Thai.

We had Kailan,Green Curry,& and of course Pandan Leaf Wrapped Chicken .

And I can say that all the food that we had was AWESOME!

The green curry was a bit on the spicy side,but boy did it taste GOOD!

The Pandan Chicken tastes good just by looking at it.You will be amazed once you unwrap the cloth that hides its hidden treasures.

The juice and oil that it ejaculates once you put it into your mouth is undescribable.You just have to taste it for yourself!

Bill came up to almost RM 70.Definately not on the CHEAP side,but was worth every penny.

After dinner,we helped ourselves to dessert at an Italian gelato shop that goes by the name of "Gelatissimo".

The wide range of Gelato will make you crave for more even before you taste it.

Serving was huge and this cup of Gelato cost RM 17 but damn was it GOOD!!!!

It's funny just how people in Malaysia keep using the prefix Mc- in front of their restaurant's name like McCurry which just won the legal battle with McDonalds.

The owner claims that McCurry stands for Malaysia Chicken Curry.Well said.

However the same cannot be said for the shop below.

What in a name? McBath??!!.Soon the owner is going to release a news article saying McBath stands for Malaysia Ceramic Bath.

When Your GF Is Shopping

It has always been a never-ending problem for the male species that when your GF goes out shopping ,you would have to accompany her.

The reason being so that you can help her decide which dress would look perfect on her.The reason why I say perfect is because FEMALES want perfect things.They want their dress to look perfect on them,they want the perfect wedding,they want the perfect life!

I would normally be enthusiastic at first but it would wear off quickly.

Sometimes its the male ego that wants recognition like, "ooo,I accompanied my GF shopping" and you actually feel proud when you help her carry all those shopping bags.

Then I would follow her around and slowly,very slowly the body suddenly loses focus and drains down especially when she ask me a million times about whether I like that particular dress she is holding in her hand desparately waving at me.

And when I say the magical word "Yes" thinking that I finally settled the issue,she chooses the other dress in her hand.

And NO! She doesnt buy it on the spot! She would normally say "OK,lets go and look around and see if there is anything nicer and cheaper"(You know,you dont wanna be regreting later that you saw a nicer dress)

Then she would go on around looking for something better but normally not finding it,and we would return to the first store we were at previously.By then ,the male knees and legs would have suffered from cramps and the feet would be saying " I need a rest".

Why ? Because the first store is on the other side of the mall.So walking there would take at least another 15-20 minutes.

So friends,this is the part and parcel of having a gf which is to partake in the monthly walking marathon!

My work brought me to the capital of the Ninth State in Malaysia(Negeri Sembilan) the other day so since it was tea time,decided to give this quite new place located in Oakland Industrial Park a try.

At first glance,CoffeeMugCafe might not seem like anything from the outside,but as soon as you step in ,the first thing that will grab your attention is this..

Yeap,this place has plenty of cups and mugs and probably will never have shortage of them both.The owner has creatively placed all his collectibles in racks that adorn the walls of his restaurant.

Open up the menu and you will be surprised at the variety of food it has to offer.You can have light meals like sandwiches all the way down to full course meals which come at a reasonable price.
However,we opted for something a little light and had a cream cheese cake which cost RM 6.90.The cheese was rather good however,the chocolate base could have been better.

We also ordered this sandwich which goes by the name of CM Club Sandwich which was simply sensational! The bread just crumbled as soon as it enters your mouth.The ham simply ejaculates all its goodness out once you actually take a bite.It was that mouth watering good!!

It costs RM 9.90 but it was seriously worth every sen.

I would say this is definateky one of the better places in Seremban for some chillax-ing !

Intense Pulsed Light

I have finally started my new job! And since this company is dealing in medical equipment,it was only natural that I had to familiarise myself with some of the company's products.

So I finally got a chance to play with a machine which costs around RM 180k and is able to remove dark spots on your hand and also able to remove unwanted hair!

Its fantasticly called the CIPL P-NAIN System imported all the way from KOREA!

My colleague volunteered herself to be the guinea pig since she had loads of hair on her arm.

We started the process by swabbing her arm with some sort of gel to alleviate the burning sensations which would have been caused by the Intense Pulsed Light penetrating the skin.

Basically how IPL works is that this machines sends a beam of light straight to the dermis of the skin and increases the temperature of the area so high,that it is enough to destroy the root of the hair thus preventing further hair growth in the area.

It was quite fun and the whole process took around 30 minutes to complete! Every single time I pressed the gun ,my colleague would let out a little shriek because it was literally burning her skin! You could even smell the burnt smell lingering in the room after that!!

Anyway,can you see two handpieces in white colour? The one on the left is to remove acne and on the right is to remove facial hairs.

Now lets say that the handpiece broke down and cannot be repaired,you have to order a new one right?

Now guess how much is ONE handpiece?

Well,you would have to fork out around RM 18,000 just to replace one handpiece!!! Yess,you heard me right! RM 18k!!

CHC 8th Anniversary Gala Dinner

So it was the time of the year again where girls will dress up to the nines and guys will try to look as cool as they can ever get.

Recently CHC celebrated their 8th Anniversary by having a splendid dinner at the Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa.

Well,having missed out on previous events organised by CHC,I decided that I wasn't going to miss this.

But going to a dinner as grand as this is no easy affair! First of all,you gotta decide what to wear and once you have decided ,you have to go shopping to get them!

And mind you,getting a suit in this dire economic situations was no kids play since decent quality ones costs in the region of RM 400-RM 600.

So to save a little bit of money,I decided to borrow my friend's suit which suprisingly suited me perfectly since he was way leaner and thinner than me.

Then I got myself a new shirt to go with the suit and a brand new pair of shoes which was also bought with discounted prices.How about that for a cheap but smart ensemble?

And I took only 2 hours to get all those compared with girls who would have taken ONE whole day just to get a dress.Heehee,see guys still shop the fastest!

On the other hand,TIZ got herself a wonderful looking dress from Sunway Pyramid costing,hmmm..ok better not reveal the price here..hehe..

In fact,she nearly won the Best Dressed for that night.Obtw,The "fan" like hairstyle which is half-covering her face was done on purpose ok!

Thankfully,It was a great affair and everyone had loads of fun from eating to eating,and listening to speeches nobody cared.

Manchester United Training Session

Wah,was at the Manchester United training at Bukit Jalil today and as usual lah,have to brave the searing heat and queue up Malaysian style to enter.Just look at the queue!!For once,Bukit Jalil Stadium was turned into a FORTRESS butnot because of the quality of the Malaysian football team but in fact due to the tons of policemen and auxillary police which were deployed all over the stadium to control rowdy fans making it look like a high security prison.

Nobody really gave a shit when Malaysia came onto the pitch at exactly 4.30pm for their warm-up session. The quality in terms of training and technique was vastly different between both camps.The Malaysian camp were awefully below par in terms of shooting techniques,dribbling and crossing.

At exactly 5.30pm,everyone was seen gesturing to the Malaysian team to quickly leave the pitch so that MU could start training.

As soon as Manchester United took to the pitch at approximately 5.45pm,enthuasistic fans sent the stadium roof crashing down.It was crazy! It was utter madness! As for this picture,you can actually see Van Der Sar ,Wayne Rooney and Luis Nani limbering up.I couldn't recognise the rest due to the poor picture quality.

The team warming up.Kudos to the organisers for actually making Manchester United make full use of the whole pitch during warm-up.This way,fans from every corner of the stadium managed to actually catch a glimpse of the star-studded team.

In between training breaks,the whole stadium decided to play Mexican wave to entertain themselves but failed miserably !Some went up,some went down .It wasnt synchronized at all.Lolz,bet MU were laughing their asses off!

Anyway,today is the big match! Will post more of it when I get back.

Melaka Food Feast

Recently our group decided to make a short trip down south to Melaka to savour the sumptous variety of local cuisine all over town.

It was a very very wet Sunday morning as we sped down the NSE towards Melaka in due anticipation of the delicious food that awaited us.

The first thing we did once we were there was to walk along Melaka's famous streets as demonstrated by JenLi and Co.

Our first stop of the day had to be the ever famous Chicken Rice Balls located in this quaint little shop near Jonker Street.

Since the shop is so tiny,the tables are so limited that you have to be there early to avoid waiting under the hot afternoon sun.

The chicken was brilliantly tender and the balls were not too soft neither was it too hard.It was just right!

After filling ourselves up,we proceeded to have Durian Cendol.The ones that did not consume durian cendol were separated from the ones having durian cendol for obvious reasons.

This is how they served us our durian cendol complete with a paper cut out of a durian.As soon as JenLi opened up the top cover,the "fresh" aroma filled the nostrils of the non-durian lovers and made us run outside gasping for FRESH air.

So while the durian lovers were happily enjoying their cendol,we the non-durian lovers decided to try out their frozen coffee which was supposedly their speciality.

Damn was it good! It tasted just like coffee but with a tad more milk than we expected but still it was very good!

Unable to bear the stench of durian,Lisa was seen here asking Jason to help her cover up her nose.

So then it was back to scouring the streets of Melaka looking for goodies after having enough of durian cendol.

Not happy that only the durian lovers were able to savour the cendol,we looked high and low for NORMAL cendol.

After walking for quite some time,we finally found this small shop(OK ,all shops in Melaka are small) which had a huge crowd clamouring around outside.

But after tasting their NORMAL cendol,you will actually know why its so crowded! The cendol actually ROCKS the socks off any cendol found in Subang,KL or even PJ.

The gula Melaka is thick and creamy and it gives it a tinge of sweetness to compliment the flavour of the cendol rarely found outside Melaka.

It seems that Lisa has a good affinity towards animals.And it also shows that giraffes can be as short as Lisa or the other way round..lolzz..

That was not the end of our eating spree.After devouring cendol,we had Baba & Nyonya food for lunch in this aptly named restaurant called Restoran Ole Sayang.

Thinking it was going to be easy getting seats,we walked in happily only to discover that the place was filled to the brim.

Not a single empty table was in sight and we waited quite long to actually secure a big enough table to fit us all in.

If you look closely behind,you might see potraits of some people I guess might have been their descendents.

Food took quite some time to arrive ,but once it arrived,boy did it look gooD! Well,it not only looked good,but it tasted fantasticly good as well! No wonder the place was filled up to the brim!

After eating our way through the whole morning and afternoon,we decided we had to have a break and headed straight to Pahlawan Mall to have a walk about.

I spotted this two cute bunnies happily embracing each other in full harmony to the viewing pleasure of everyone who walked past their cubicle.

As it was already 5pm,we decided not to waste anymore time in a mall,and zoomed straight to some street(forgot the name) to have Satay Celup.

Under the guidance of Edmund(Melaka Boy) ,we reached there without any fuss.Places were still aplenty and we quickly sat down to order.

The Satay was seriously Yummy especially once dipped into that pot of sinfully OILY sauce.

Mixing up our saliva and a whole load of other stuff into that pot.

You would have thought,OK Kevin,I bet you cannot stomach any more food right?

WRONG! After satay celup we headed to another place for our second dinner.

The place we parked our cars.

Before actually going to the hawker,we "tapau-ed" some Yao Char Kueh to take home.Apparently this run down stall serves awesome YCK.

As a conclusion,all the food we tasted were fantastic! None of them were a let down,and we were glad that we managed to stomach everything in such a short period of time.

After the food feast,all of use headed home with a brand new "spare tyre" located on our tummies!

Rabbits

Since IZ was a rabbit lover,it was only natural that we pay a visit to the 1st rabbit show in Malaysia held in Midvalley Megamall when we heard about it.

There are actually seven different genera in the family classified as rabbits.But you cant actually find all the species here.

Thats why,the Midvalley Rabbit Show provided a good platform to view unique and never before seen rabbits.

Entry was not free as everybody had to actually pay RM 5 to enter.

Upon entry ,we caught a glimpse of a very cute and weird looking rabbit!

This was the very unique and rare type of rabbit that we caught a glimpse of.Instead of its ears pointing up like all rabbits normally have,this one actually has its ears slumped downwards on its face which made it look like a dog.

There were so many ppl taking pictures of this rare type of rabbit that we had to force ourselves through the crowd to get a good pictar.

No these are not rabbits but in fact they are mice! A unique type too which has tiny spikes on their body.

This rabbit was very obedient at first! But when he saw a female rabbit,all hell broke loose!

The owner had to actually restrain him from running towards the female rabbit.It was so keen on heading her way.

As a conclusion,the show was not the greatest and the best since the rabbits on show were very limited.

The showcase area was also very small.And since it was a Saturday,the crowd was huge and walking in there was like walking in a packed "pasar-malam" filled with all sorts of creatures.

But one thing is for sure,IZ definately enjoyed herself with the rabbits!

Putrajaya

Putrajaya has been long around for quite some time.But rarely do I get a chance to go there and enjoy the picturesque scenery coupled with jam free roads and greeneries aplenty.

So when IZ popped the question of visiting Putrajaya on a lazy Sunday afternoon,I quickly accepted without hesitation.

The drive to Putrajaya was not too bad on the LDP followed by the KL-Putrajaya highway.In short,getting there was a breeze!

Since it was ages since we were there,we depended on road signs to get to our destinations.The first that caught our attention was this so called Taman Rimba.

The signs were aplenty heading towards this Taman Rimba.It took us up a steep slope ,slowly turning past winding roads adorned by rustic trees.

But lo and behold,there was finally a sign that told us all once we reached the top.It read

"Taman Rimba masih dalam pembinaan,DILARANG MASUK!"

So I drive all the way up and these fools only put that signboard at the top while at the bottom of the hill,all the signboards pointed to as though it was already completed while all I saw was a freaking bare piece of land.

Ok,that aside,I calmed my tigerish nerves while she calmed her rabbit nerves and we headed to our next destination.So we ended up in another Taman called "Taman Botani".

Luckily this time,the "Taman" was actually ready!

Entrance to the park was free.But that was not what surprised us,it was the surprisingly well maintained greeneries.Trees were aplenty while pathways were practically litter free.

This was the bridge that greeted us once we passed the main entrance.It took us quite long to get to the other side .The hot sun dint help either was IZ was complaining like a cute rabbit.

Upon reaching the other side,we strode along pathways that brought upon to us lush greeneries coupled with plants that were as tall as us.

After strolling around the park for a good hour or so,we decided it was time to head to the nearby lakeside terrace which also houses the biggest mosque in Malaysia,shops,fountains and even toilets.

On our arrival there,our eyes were welcomed by hordes of tourists from China ,Taiwan,the Middle East and of course our locals too.This is our very own Prime Ministers office in which I finally get to take a picture with.Upon locating a stall which sold ice-creams,we decided to have ice-cream.IZ chose a bunny ice-cream while I had a yam-flavoured one.Well,as you all know,she loves to associate herself with BUNNIES! Especially cute ones!

Finally to end it all off, a must-have picture taken with your loved one in front of our very own Prime Ministers office..lol..=)

So I was walking to my car at around 12pm to have lunch and did not suspect anything at all.

As I approached my car,something told me there was something wrong.

As I walked closer,I noticed a cute little balloon hanging from my car.Thinking that it might have been some kids who were playing around hanging balloons on people's car,I quickly rushed over to have a closer look.

Well, guess what,the balloons were actually hung onto my car by a sales team from HSBC Amanah.

They decided that hanging balloons on your car is the NEW way of advertising.But I have to agree with them.Somehow or rather,it made people notice them.People will start remembering HSBC for coming up with this unique idea.

Probably then more people will start to utilize HSBC's Amanah's banking services.

They were in fact promoting their corporate banking services.Their tagline read " The Route To Value Added Business Banking"

My Baby's 1000km Service

Yeah,I know its a bit overdue,but anyways,I sent my baby for its first 1000km service at Honda USJ Car Express not too long ago.

I dont even know why,but I managed 1100km in TEN days of receiving my car.That averages down to about 100km+ a day which is really mystifying since I dont know how I managed to do 1100 km in TEN days.

Not expecting a big crowd on a weekday morning,I booked myself a slot and happily drove to the centre with open hearts.

On arriving there,I was horrified to learn that there were so many people in front of me.I quickly took a queue number and after waiting for quite some time,the fella called me.

Thats not all,after u register at the counter,you actually have to wait again for them to drive your car to the back of the centre.

It took them quite some time just to perform a simple and routine check up. I also told them that I wanted my car alignment done since I it was out.

While waiting for the car to be serviced,I being a busy-body and to "kill" time actually took a stroll around to check out its surroundings.

I spotted this innocent looking car parked innocently along the road leading to the back.

As I walked closer,I knew something was wrong when I saw this!

Then as I strolled to the back of the car,the most shocking ,maddening,saddening thing awaited me.

A spanking new Honda City with its ass all smashed up! Pity the owner lah.It just shows to you how good the New Honda City brakes are! =) Oh Yea,the registration plate from PENANG just shows you that PENANG drivers are .......

Just decided to take a random picture!

Then when I saw them lifting my car up,I decided to sneak a peek to make sure the mechanic dint curi anything or scratch my new baby while lifting him up.

After checking that everything was ok underneath,the mechanic proceeded to lowering my car and checking the engine bay.

It was hardly a check,he did all the basic checks which even I could do myself at home.After fiddling around with the stuff,he decided to give the green light for me to collect my car.

All in all, it took them a freaking 1 hour 30 minutes to "service"my car.And after all that mess,they got the cheek to tell me that their stupid alignment machine or whatever you call that is spoilt for the day and asked me come another day!

You thought I so free simply come here service car anytime anyday ah? No need work is it??

After cooling down,I agreed on another weekend to get the thing done!

Damn,was I frustrated that I had to be driving a car which wasnt going in a straight line that I quickly left for home!

The only POSITIVE thing for this service is its actually F.O.C!

So it was a pretty sad night for all of us.As we all know,Adelin is leaving to Scotland on Tuesday night to pursue her dreams to become a world class pharmacist.

So it was not surprising that we all had a 2nd party to say our goodbyes to her.It was neither fancy nor was it big.It was just a small little get together and small talk.

But what was big were the amount of foods her good ol' parents decided to stuff us up with.

There were cheesecakes

Tiramisu

But that nots all,after all those,they decided to throw out even more junk food on the table like Mister Potato,Oreo biscuits and many others I myself dint have the energy to take the pictures.

Adelin here seems happy and jovial with her cup of coffee specially brewed by her mum.

Adelin looks so happy just by ordering pizza.It took her a while to place the order as she kept on laughing and smiling with the DOMINOS guy.

Wow,its been 5 days since I joined Celebrity Fitness.And guess what? I have been going to the gym every single day for the past 4 days!

And boy am I feeling the results! I tell you,my body feels more toned and my muscles feel tighter!

On the downside,going to the gym everyday runs me dry and by the time I get home,I am so dead tired,I jump into bed straight away.

The one thing that makes gets me into the mood to workout is the environment of the gym.

First of all,its atmosphere is akin to that of a club.And the music there are all mostly club songs.So imagine you are working out,and they are playing the club songs,wouldnt you feel more charged up and feel more determined to push yourself to the limit?Well that was what happened to me.

And the results,some extra painful cramps in my upper body!

All these adds to the already good environment in Celebrity Fitness.

So overall,I would say this is a pretty good gym to get started with!

During my school days,I used to be teased due to my oversized body and fats.I have to admit,I was FAT during my early high school days.

I used to look like this

I used to weigh in at 96kg during Form 1.However that weight was reduced to 63kg in Form 4 due to my overall determination in getting rid of that extra load of fats.

I played futsal every single day for a year or so and due to that my waist size reduced from 42 inches to 32 inches!

However,after all that,working life took over and I am starting to put on the pounds again!

My weight has ballooned to 87kg,and I have man-boobs!

The reason mainly being due to work and stress.Since I have started working,I only have time to exercise on weekends.This was never going to be enough since I love good food ,especially all the briyanis and all the ultra fattening stuff ppl like to load me up.

Due to this ,I have decided to invest a little bit in a gym.After scouring around looking for the best deals in town,I decided to sign up with CELEBRITY FITNESS in Subang Parade.

For a monthly premium of RM 129,I get to used all the goodies there.But having said that,just by joining a gym and not working out is not going to be of any use.

Therefore,I have made it a point to workout at LEAST 3 times a week!

Looks like ,a little bit sure goes a long way in my hopes of retaining my previous self!

Hopefully after a couple of months working out,I will look like this!

Unlucky Day

Of all Honda Cities Out there,it just had to happen to me.It just had to happen that when I parked my car at that "Mamak" the other day,there just had to be this moron who would scratch my car for no particular reason!

And it wasnt any scratch! It was a deep ,long scratch!

It probably could have been he was jealous at someone having a spanking new car or he was just out to having some fun.

But what he doesnt know is, the suffering I have to go through just because he decided to have some fun on a brand new Honda City!!!!

Now I have to fork out RM 500 just to respray the whole damn thing! And this just had to happen on a 3 week old car!

I curse the person who did THIS to rot in HELL!! I trust in God and I know he will punish you somehow or rather.

Manchester United Asia Tour 2009

Hey guys! As you all know,Manchester United ,the current BPL champions will be making their way down to Malaysia on the 18th of July 2009!

And I can proudly say that everyone has at least some basic knowledge about Manchester United.This team is so famous,some people can memorize the whole MU team and dont even know their own cabinet ministers.

Remember those Beckham glory days? The Cantona days? Wow,those players really bring back those good 'ol memories.

The last time MU came over to Malaysia was way back in 2001.In fact,I was there to witness the humbling of a M'sia side trying their best to play FOOTBALL.

Those times,the tickets were pretty expensive.Cheapest was RM 58,RM 98,RM 150 and that went all the way up to RM 308.

However this time around,the organizers have been wiser a bit.Due to the economy crisis,they have priced the tickets so cheap,I think Bukit Jalil Stadium is going to be filled to the brim!

Cheapest ticket is RM 58,then RM 68 followed by RM 98.The most expensive is RM 308 which is also a VIP ticket where you get to meet the players.

That means,buying the RM 98 ticket gets you as close as you get to the pitch! For females,you can see every rib on Ronaldo's abs.You might even get to see what brand of chewing gum ,Fergie always has in his mouth.

Therefore,when my friend told me about the ticket sales,I quickly rushed to the Nike outlet in Sunway Pyramid to get the tickets.Luckily,there was still tickets! However,their free training pass was out of stock.So the girl at the counter told me to get it next week.

FYI,the training pass allows you a one time entrance to Bukit Jalil Stadim to watch the players in their training kit.That would be awesome!

After a short wait,I got that dream ticket! I will be heading to Bukit Jalil on 18th of July to catch BPL champions ,Manchester United in action!!!! Cant wait!!Have to start another countdown for this!

However,be quick,since tickets are dirt cheap,they are selling hotter than hot cakes.So get them while their hot!!

Swollen

So I was back home,when I suddenly felt a sharp pain at my neck.I quickly placed my fingers there and all I could feel was a tiny swollen growth just below my ear.

The swell is back! Two weeks ago,I visited their ENT specialist.For those who dont know,ENT stands for Ear,Nose,& Throat.

He did some magic,and gave me some antibiotics then.But now,its back again!

The time was 10.33pm.I had just come back from watching Manchester United win the BPL title for the 18th time in the club's history and their 3rd time in a row.

Worried,I quickly rushed to SJMC or SDMC as they like to call it now.The nurse asked me to go to Emergency Room but still I had to register and follow the normal procedures.

Then the doctor checked and told me my lymph node was swollen due to throat infection and gave me some antibiotics!

Now the swell has subsided but it is still affecting my hearing.My hearing has been reduced and it is still painful when I press it.

Help pray for my quick recovery guys! Thanks!

Resignation

Today was a historic day for me. I submitted my resignation letter once and for all after contemplating for months.

My Confidential Secretary was somewhat surprised as all these while I acted like normal and carried out my duties without a hint of displeasure.

However,my Banking Services Manager saw it coming as I had a tift with him early last month.

Having said that,I am rather pleased and at the same time abit sad that I would have to leave the company I have served for a good 1 year and 1 month.

I know it may not be a long time for some of you,but damn it was a good whole year full of learning new things,meeting new people,and increasing and improving our branch profits.

My resignation was all done in good faith and had nothing to do with any outburst or anything.

It's just that I wanted a new challenge for myself,I knew I could do better somewhere else.

I feel that I have trapped in this cocoon for way too long and I just need to emerge and prove to myself that I am better in what I can do.

So when I submitted my letter today,my branch manager instantly called me into his room.

He asked me as usual the reason I was leaving and I told him honestly that it was for my own good.Well,he accepted and the rest as they say is history.

So in two months time,I shall be leaving and moving on to greener pastures.

So after my "wedding" countdown,I will be having another countdown,a "New Job" countdown!

GLS Auto

So after collecting my baby the other day,I was informed by my SA(Sales Advisor) to fix my FREE brake lock and visor at GLS Auto located somewhere in USJ 8 on Wesak Day.

Once I got there,I was to find one "Willie" fella.Dint really expect much,but found out that his service was very good.He was friendly and was able to slowly explain everything about my new baby in detail.

And his workers there made it a point to make sure that everything was in good working condition before handing over the car back to me.He even cleaned some white marks on the dashboard for me.

It dint take them long to fix the window visors and brake lock which was rather pleasant.

The brake lock they fixed for me had a cool feature.

It has a double locking system in which you pull one lock out towards you to lock,and by pressing the second lock inwards,you lock the second lock which proved very handy.

One more feature is the engine cut off feature.As soon as you pull the 1st lock,the engine is totally cut off.This means that you cannot start the engine when you have already engaged the lock.You would have to unlock the lock before you can start the engine.

After fixing the brake lock,they continued by placing the window visors.

All that was settle in less than 45 minutes! And before you knew it,I was already zooming off my next destination

Wow,finally! It has arrived! Today,at 6.30pm I was united with my new partner...hehehe..=)

She getting a good scrub before I took delivery.

Finally got to test drive her,and boy can she really fly! Its just that ,I have miscalculated the amount of food that I need to give her cause she can really eat alot!

In a nutshell,I am extremely satisfied with her performance and up till now,I have no regrets whatsoever! =)

Its been a long time I wanted to blog about this shop I have been frequenting ever since I started working in Shah Alam.

However,due to my forgetfulness,I always forget to take pics and you know,since pictars are the essence of my blog,I decided that I will only blog when I have taken the pictars.

OK,lets get down to business.The shop I am talking about is JM Beriani located in Tesco Shah Alam.

You cannot possibly miss this shop with its bright red signboard and the aroma of the rice will just make your hunger pangs desire for food become even greater!

I was at the shop for lunch at around 12.15 pm and not for the first time,almost every table is reserved! Damn it! Furthermore,the shop is rather small and to reserve almost table just shows how good business is!

After waiting for 5 minutes,we got a table.We both had Kambing Beriani.For drinks,I ordered the "3 layered Tea" which is getting very popular over in here in the Penisular.For the uninitiated,"3 layered Tea" originated from Sarawak and uses Gula Melaka instead of the normal sugar.

This is the "3 layered Tea".Unfortunately when I took this picture,it was already stirred so you cant see the 3 defining layers that made this drink unique.

THe plain rice was just awesome.One could eat it just it alone just like Gardenia ,"“It was so good … you can even eat it on its own!!".The fragance from the rice will just blow your mind away.

Then it was the turn of the "Kambing" to arrive.

Just look at the amount of oil in that!! Sinful?,yes! But delightful!!

Being a so called healthy person,M would always remove excess oil that her food is soaked in.Therefore,it was no surprise when M collected this much of OIL from her "Kambing" plate.

Just putting one spoonfull of the fragrant rice mixed with juicy oily "Kambing" just makes you feel like your floating in heaven.

The rice was not too soft and not too hard,the "kambing" meat was tender and melted in your mouth.The kuah was tasty and had just the right ingredients! What more can you ask for? Saying the food was lousy is just like turning a naked lady away right in front of you!

Not that I havent tasted good food before,but this!This was just amazing and possibly the best ever beriani in Shah Alam.

On the down side,it is kinda pricey but hey! Since when eating Nasi Beriani was going to be a cheap affair ?!

Each plate of "Kambing Beriani " costs RM 11.30 and the 3 layered Tea was going for RM 3.50.

However,I can powerfully say that the food is worth every single sen!

Power Rating : 8.8/10 !!

Big Shit

So finally decided to go to cell group after a absence of probably 6 months or so.Went there with an open heart to finally absorb as much I can in that 1.5 hours of prayer.

We were playing games and so it came upon one game that we were playing that made us all laugh like mad.

We were playing this game where we were supposed to say "Big Fish" or

"Small Fish".

However,as it was Alicia's turn ,she kinda mumbled the words out and totally forgot what she was suppose to say.

To our amusement she said this

Alicia : "BIG SHIT"

We laughed out asses out while rolling on the floor.Ok,that was exaggerating abit.But ,damn was it funny!

My Innocent Tie

So I was driving home happily after running some errands in SS15 Subang Jaya when all of a sudden a loud shuddering sound coming from my car air con startled me.

In the 1 year and 1 month I have been driving this car,in no way has this car given me any problems before.And I couldnt believe my luck when the cool air coming out from the air con was replaced by hot smelly air.

Since I needed to use the car badly for the afternoon,I quickly rushed to the Perodua workshop near SS12 to find out what was causing all this mayhem.

So once I reached there,the foreman proceeded to open my glovebox where he suspected the problem was coming from.

He started taking out my glove box and started his search for the mystery problem.

And true to itself,it was indeed the place where the problem layed.

However ,instead of some mechanical or instrumental problem,guess what caused the faulty air con?

My freaking tie!

The tie which I have been so innocently putting into the glovebox for the past one year had actually caused the problem.

It was actually sucked up by the strong blower when I put it into the box.This caused the fan to be jammed up which subsequently caused my aircon to fail.

It was sucked up there as shown by the arrows.

This is what is left of my innocent little tie.

The moral of the story for Myvi users is : Dont place your ties in your glove boxes!

Bro's 12th Birthday

My youngest brother has unofficially turned 12 years young .In fact his birthday was supposed to be on the 29th of April.But since my dad couldnt make it on that day,we decided to have it today.

Since my lil bro was bugging my dad for ages to bring him to Tony Romas,we kindly obliged since this was his special day.

You must be wondering why such a big age gap between me (23yo) and my lil bro (12yo) right?

Thats because when me parents came back from overseas after I was born there,they "accidentally" you know what lah,then before you knew it,there was this little earthling crying non stop every single day.

So to cut the long story short,he has come quite a long way from where he was last time.A couple of years back he was as thin as a lamppost.

However,I cannot blame you if you couldnt recognise him now cause his weight has rocketed to over 30 kilos which is kinda heavy for a 12 year ol.

Well,what to do,he eats and breathes chocolates,ice creams,snacks,and whatever rubbish that can be scavenged from the white box.

OK back to the future,and here we are in Tony Romas.Its been a long time since we visited Tony Romas.The last being my 2nd bros birthday last year.

So coming here again brought back some good 'ol memories of their famous juicy mouthwatering finger licking godlike beef ribs.

One thing I like about Tony Romas Sunway Pyramid is its excellent service and calming ambience. Not only was service quick but hell ya it was efficient.

The waiters are mostly from India based on their slang they possess.No offence but sometimes it was quite hard understanding what they were trying to say.But make no mistake,they really took their time in explaining the items on the menu.

Since the beef ribs were so damn good,it was only natural that we ordered it again.

All I can say that TR has managed to maintain and enhance its taste which was simply awesome.The juice that managed to drip down to the plate while I picked it up from the plate is enough to make some people salivate the whole night.

Once I lay it onto my tougue,the fresh aroma from the spices and herbs just popped up like a dream.Its wet texture made it more desirable and the black sauce was just the icing on the cake.

Yours truly had the chicken platter which was good especially when mixed the honey mustard sauce.

My two other bros had Ribeye steaks which were simply mouthwatering.Sorry forgot to take pics but the portion was rather large.

Mum had some grilled chicken which honestly was the worst dish we ordered just now.Not only was it dry,but it somehow tasted bland and uninviting to our tastebuds.

Dad had Dory fish which was also rather bland.

Cute little piglet acting cute.

Total bill came up to RM 327.85 which was pricey but well worth it if not for the Grilled Chicken and Dory Fish.

And to end it all,what more than a pictar of Yours Truly enjoying his glass of Coca-Cola.

Finally,after a year and one month plus,the management decided to promote me from a trainee to a full fledged Senior Operations Officer.

In fact before I was promoted,I was already fulfilling the duties of a Senior Operations Officer.

So when my CA(Confidential Assistant) called me to receive my letter,I dint know I was in for a shock.

After toiling and playing along with their political gameplan for a full year,I received a meagre increment of only RM 150.00! Yes ! I know some of you might think that its better than nothing in these kinda economic situations,but after you have seen the stuff that we are put through everyday,then you will know RM 150.00 is peanuts for a company making billions of profits consistently every freaking year !

Here is the letter they gave me .The promotion in fact actually has more cons than pros.

Why? Because the increment of RM 150 is way too low.To add salt to the wound,besides my current portfolio,I will now handle something else which is risky and involves alot of time.

So after carefully deliberating my duties,my current salary really does not tally with the amount of work I do.

In fact,it is actually a mere consolation because my duties involve peoples monies.One mistake and I would have to bear the losses through my own pocket!

On a brighter note,I have clarified with my CA that there will be another increment this coming end of May.

So guys and gals,help me pray for a better tomorrow!

Suicide Attempt By Indon Maid At USJ 4 Bridge

So I was happily driving back from church this afternoon approximately around 2.05pm when all of a sudden I heard a loud honk from behind.

Quickly,I glanced through my rear mirror and I saw a red coloured truck sniffing down my arse.

Since the lights were red,I quickly drove to the front to give way to the truck.I thought that that was that.

However ,after travelling another 500 metres,scores of people were waving to the truck to stop and telling the driver that this was the place.

Curious,I looked around for the problem but could not spot it.So being a busybody,I parked my car somewhere and got down to see what the fuss was all about.

Then I saw the chilling sight of a yellow clad shirt Indonesian lady about to take her life in front of so many people ranging from young kids to old men and women.

She made people nervous when she nearly slipped off the edge of the tiles.

This babe got into my camera's lens way while I was taking the firetruck.

The firemen were trying to coax the lady to come down but to no avail.They even bought her food and water to satisfy her hunger.

Scores of people were watching which caused a massive jam that backlogged all the way to USJ 2.

Firemen preparing the safety net just in case the lady jumped which would not have killed her.Most probably just broken her leg I guess.

The guy on the right with the blue shirt looked like the boss of the maid because he kept giving instructions on how to coax her down.First by trying to write on a piece of paper and telling her that she will be taken care of.

Police quickly cordoned of the area for fear that she might land on one of the oncoming cars.

Seeing that their small truck on the right was not enough,they decided to call in their mother truck on the left which had a super long ladder to get up there.

The lady playing the "cat and mouse" game with the firemen.When they went to one side with the net,she clamoured to the other side.

After coaxing her for about and hour or so,they managed to get a grip on her and quickly two more firemen got hold of her to prevent her from falling.

One more fireman quickly getting to the lady.

After getting her into the carriage ,they brought her down without any further incidents.

Once she was down,she was quickly escorted by police into the policecar and sped away.

The policecar being surrounded by "Papparazi" lolzz.

Moral of the story: Dont always scold your maid.If she is not performing,just FIRE her.

Peranakan Place

Was with a friend the other day at 1U .Since we arrived pretty early,we went around scouring for food after we collected our tickets for Friday the 13th.Ironically though,even the cinema in which the movie was screened was hall number 13!

We walked quite long before settling for this place called Peranakan place somewhere on the upper floors of 1u.It looks like a cafe from outside where you can either sit inside of outside.

We decided that it would be more appropriate to sit inside because you get to "feel" the Peranakan thingie.

The interior of the restaurant was decorated according to the Peranakan style.It was simple but very accomodating.

After browsing through the menu,I decided to have Nyonya fried rice for RM 9.50.All I can say that it was delightful!The whole plate consist of some rice,a piece of fried chicken and some chips to round it off.

She on the other hand had some Nasi Goreng Java which was also very very good!

Seeing that the food was so good,I browsed through the menu and ordered this.

Its called "Pai Ti" and it cost RM 7.50.The taste was really superb! It is filled with turnip and topped with fishcake and a dot of chilli sauce.

This one is highly recommended!

Overall,the food in this place was awesome! Highly recommended!And the bill came up to RM 35.50 which was rather reasonable considering the shop is located in 1u shopping mall.

I would give it a 8/10.

On the other hand,the movie was a bit disappointing but there were violence aplenty.Jason practically kills everything in sight and not even the sight of a pretty girl would stop him.

But I would say that the movie was rather predictable and somewhat repetitive.

I would give the movie a 6.5/10.

While strolling around,I noticed some other ppls baby waiting to be collected.

My fingers got itchy so decided to snap a few pics just to remind myself how beautiful my future wife to be is going to be.

And the best part is my SA confirmed that I can collect my baby mid next month! Hooray!

Nasi Briyani

After working for more than a year or so,I came to realise that there was this little stall that sells good nasi briyani located not too far from my working place.

It is normally crowded ,but it gets even worst when its a Thursday.Why you must be thinking?

Its because they only produce their nasi briyani once every week on Thursday.On the other days,they will sell only normal white rice.

The place might me slightly on the dirty side,but make no mistake about the food.It is simply finger licking good for the monies that we fork out.

People from all walks of life fill this place to the brim in no time.Sometimes,its so full,we have to sit on the opposite side which actually is abit on the not so clean side.But,what to do,all for the sake of good food!

Today,I took briyani,vege,an egg and one fried chicken which cost a mere RM 5.00.Add in a drink and it all comes up to about RM 6.50 which is rather cheap considering you get good briyani,an egg,chicken and vege.

This place is really worth a visit if you dont mind the not very clean environment.But as far as I know,nobody has died from food poisoning at this place.

I am not very sure how to descibe this place,but its located in Seksyen 15 ,Shah Alam.

How To Get That Number You Always Wanted at JPJ

Remember the days when you stepped into a government office and you were greeted with super long queues.

You had always wanted to use the services of the "runner" to save you all the hassle of going to government offices to settle some outstanding issues.

I paid RM 400 for my previous car number which wasnt that pretty in the first place.Then I started to think ,could it be that difficult and time consuming to buy the number myself?

As a result,I did go to JPJ myself and got my number plate in less than 20 minutes!(Record time)

Ok,so I was up early at around 8am but I decided to go to JPJ Wangsa Maju at only 10 am thinking that there wouldnt be any traffic jam at that time.

But surprise surprise,the moment I got to the main road,this is what I saw.

JAM!! at 10 am in the morning!

After approximately 1 hour in the car ,I reached the JPJ office at around 11am.

Immediately,I hurried to the counter thinking that there would be crowded today.On the way to the information counter,we were "greeted" by many "runners" who would ask you whether you needed their help in settling your stuff.

I was "greeted" not by one runner but almost 6-7 of them loitering all over the JPJ office.

But I politely declined them one by one as I was here to get the number myself.

So being a first timer,I didnt know what form to fill and where to go.

So I asked a lady at the counter,and she told me to fill up a form and go upstairs to take a queue number.

When I finally reached upstairs,I quickly took a queue number and patiently waited for my turn.

The office was so empty and devoid of the usual crowd that used to flood this place.

My queue number was 1110 and the current number was 1108.So thinking that I would have to wait long,I sat at a chair nearby the counter while looking at the screen that showed the "running" numbers.

But to my surprise,before my butt could even touch the seat,my number was called!!

And I was greeted by this lady going by the name of "Fatimah"

Fatimah : Selamat pagi Encik,nak buat apa?

Me : Cik,saya nak beli nombor lah..

Fatimah : Boleh,nak nombor apa?

So I gave her the whole list of numbers that I thought I liked and waited with bated breath to see if I could get any numbers on the list.

But to my dismay,all the numbers I listed down were only open for tender.There were close to 40-50 numbers on the freaking list!!

So I quickly asked her if I could jump to another series since the running number was no 2XXX,I jumped to 8XXX.By doing so,you would incur another RM 100 extra charges.

Finally,I decided to try 8812.I waited and waited for about 1 min.And then ,she said

Fatimah : Nombor ini ok!

Wow,I was so relieved and happy that I finally got my number!

So I paid her the RM 210 + Rm 100 which totalled up to RM 310.And in return she gave me the receipt to confirm my purchase which looked like this.

And to put the icing on the cake,all these was done within 20 minutes! Wow,it seemed surreal!

I spent only 20 minutes to get that number I always wanted! It was really simple and easy to do.

Talk about efficiency and JPJ Wangsa Maju has really blown me away.The were enough counters and after the renovation,the place looked much nicer than before.

It wasnt as hard as I thought it would be!

So looks like I would not be using the services of the "runners" in a long time.

Ok,so heres a breakdown of what you need to do to get that number you always wanted.

1. For Selangor registration,you must bring your car booking receipt.

2.For KL registration,no need car booking receipt.

3. Bring enough money!

4. Go to JPJ around 9am -12pm.

5. Take queue number

6. Fill up form

7.Choose plate number and pay.

8. Collect receipt.

9. Give receipt to salesman

10. Enjoy your ride!

What is the first thing when you hear the word KRABI? Well,the first thing I thought of were a place where crabs ruled the world and finding a human was like looking for a needle in a haystack.

But hey Krabi is in fact located on the west coast of Southern Thailand and is one of the most beautiful and most attractive places one could ever go in Thailand.

Krabi offers one of the best coastline in Thailand,unusual limestone formations which cast extraordinary silhouettes reaching far out into the Andaman Sea.

The distinguishing feature of both Krabi and neighboring Phang Nga is the massive limestone karsts, rising vertiginously out of the flat rice paddies on land and as islands from the sea. Add in some gorgeous beaches and excellent scuba diving and rock climbing, and it's little wonder that tourism in the area has been booming tremendously.

And the best thing about all these is that I am heading there from 22nd July to 25th July which seems quite a distance away.But as you all know,time really flies!

Hmmm,the abundance of beautiful places and beaches in Krabi makes me wonder where to start off,but I will start with the best.SO here goes.

Phi-Phi Island located off the coast of Krabi is a real gem.The scenery is spectacular coupled with pristine beaches and crystal sparkling water will make you think that this is out of this world.

It is also where the movie "The Beach" was filmed.

There is no wonder that this place is called the Pearl of the Andaman.

Then there is Ao Nang beach which is Krabi's most developed beach. Fringed by palms, the long beach is backed by a wide range of accommodation including resorts, bungalows and guesthouses, and Krabi's best selection of restaurants.

We also have a place which sounds like a Railway in "Rai Leh".

Rai Leh , also commonly known as Railay, is a tourist area located on the Andaman Coast of Thailand, in Krabi Province. Rai Leh is primarily known as a rock climbing hot spot, attracting climbers from all over the world to its brilliant towering limestone.

And another weirdly named place is called "Had Yao".It is the last untouched beach in Krabi Province, and perhaps the most spectacular with its views of Jum Mountain and Ao Nang's cliff walls.

As a conclusion,Krabi Province provides a fascinating and truly memorable experience and the best thing is ,it wont burn a big hole in your pocket.

In fact ,there is only one airline we should thank for making this trip possible ,and that has to be AirAsia.At only RM 237 return,it is really cheap and makes its tagline of "Now everyone can Fly" seem somewhat true to itself.

In fact actually,Jen-Li started this conversation.She sms-ed me around noon and it started off like this....

JL: Kevin,What are you Doing now?

Me: Bored leh,no customers today...Miss your cute baby face lah! =)

JL : Thats nonsense! My face where got like baby face??!! Not pretty meh me? I thought I am da prettiest princess in the world?!!

ME : From the bottom of my heart,you are much prettier now with natural hair instead of red hair.You make me WEAK in my knees when I see you,You are SWEETER than my mumz coffee and you are so HOT,you make my heart MELT like chocolate.

JL : LOLz,hAha,you make me laugh like crazy in this mosquito fly can hear environment.

Me : Sure anot??!! (hehehe,pretend to act stupid..but in the heart,so happy!)

The moral of the story is,every girl likes to be sweet-talked.Its like buying candies for kids.

You can sweet-talk them ,but there has to be a limit =)

Clubbing With ST

So here I am,just back from clubbing at M.O.S with a girl whom beyond my wildest imagination would have gone clubbing.

She is just so innocent and has the "good girl" image.And there in Sunway Pyramid after dinner she asked me whether I would like to go clubbing...

ST: Kevin,I havent been clubbing before ler...Wonder what do ppl do in clubss?..hmmm...

Me: Ohh,how lucky could you get,today is Ladies Night!!

ST: Dont bluff me lah,sure anot? Just because your with a pretty girl you say got Ladies Night?

Me: Serious lah! Today you go in for freeeee! But I still have to pay the stupid cover charge lahhh..

ST : Oklah(In a cute tone)...I wanna goo,I wanna go ...gooooo for experience..

And the next thing I knew,we were standing in front of M.O.S main entrance.

Darn!,had to pay RM 40 for some lousy Vodka while she just walked in like nobody's business.

To cut the long story short,the atmosphere was awesome even though it was devoid of the normal crowd that hour.

So hey ,we even popped by the bar for an extra drink.I actually asked the bartender for Rum + Coke and I mistakenly heard RM 12 for a glass.

So I thought,Why not?

But when the drink came,ho and behold,it was only normal COKE!

So I asked him again,how much is RUM + COKE? Well,his answer : RM 23!

Yea,RM 23 for that freaking small glass of liquid.I quickly accepted the COKE and walked away.

I Will Be Getting Married In Two Months Time

Hie guys! Just to let you know I will be getting married in two months time.

I am so lucky to be blessed with this wonderful wife to be of mine.Her slick tender lines and curvaceous body has just made me shiver in the knees.Her skin is a bit on the brown side but that is enough for me as I wouldnt like someone who is too tanned.

From the front,she might look fierce and aggressive.But once you get her on her backside,she looks more subtle and more pleasing to the eye.

In fact,I fell in love with her at first sight.Once I rode her,she purred like a vicious tiger ready to unleash all those power within her.

Not suprisingly,I met her in a car showroom.She had just arrived all the way from Pegoh.

Her maintainence is not really high.It just cost me around RM 400 a month on food.

And then therez the bi-monthly maintainence of around RM 100-200 in which I would definately fork out to keep her going.

And the best thing is,I get to spend a whole lot of time with her everyday most definitely.

Another good thing about her is that she is aggressive when you need her to be.And when you need her to be tame ,she will gladly oblige.

In the long run,she will be reliable and trustworthy.She will never break down and disappoint you.

Singapore 2009 Day 2

After partying the previous night till the wee hours of the morning,we obviously woke up a bit late around 10.30 am just before they were to switch off the air conditioning.The first thing we did was to take the MRT to Vivo City as we had planned to go to Sentosa earlier on.

Upon reaching Vivo,we spotted this unique looking shop.

Yes, even National Geographic has a huge retail shop here!!

But the discouraging part is that when u learn that a jacket cost SGD 800-SGD 1000.Once inside,we found out that this shop has this small little freezer thingie..

So basically,you pay SGD 1 to freeze yourself.Inside,there is a sensor which detects the body temperature of our bodies and it actually shows that once you are inside,your body loses heat dramatically.

Shaun inside the freezer.When he came out,his ears and hands were ice cold even with that SGD 1000 jacket he is wearing.

They even sell bracelets made with rare stones found in Kenya and some African countries which cost in the region of SGD 400-SGD 600.In this dire economic situations ,I doubt people would even think about buying something so expensive dug up from the grounds.

After spending quite some time there,we headed to the cable car to take us to Sentosa.A return trip cost SGD 15 which was quite pricey.But what you get is a unbeatable view of Singapore.

The construction of the new casino in Sentosa.Sure hell does look like a multi billion dollar project!!

Upon reaching Sentosa,we found it to be deserted.There were hardly any people besides the cleaners and the staff.

I actually decided to let the guy behind me put his snakes on me for SGD5 but later thought otherwise.

If not for the LUGE and the beaches,it would have been a pretty boring affair.We left after spending only 1.5 hours there.

That night,we headed to D'Marquee Downtown East for the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus concert.

On the way there,we spotted this beauty!

Once we were there,this was what greeted us!

The queue was freaking long! It stretched quite some distance and that was only at 5.30pm.The concert was scheduled to start at 7.30pm.

However while waiting,we managed to grab a picture with one of the RJA members.

Not one to go in to the concert with and empty stomach.I decided to try the Tako and it somehow tasted a bit weird and different from the ones we have in Malaysia.

The concert was supposed to start at 7.30 pm but somehow the organisers managed to make us wait till 9.30pm before starting.This has to be the worst organised concert by far.

Some Singaporean band doing the opening act.This was when I found out how wild the girls over there can get.They basically formed a circle and everyone would start jumping in the circle and push each other over.The pushes were no soft pushes,it was really hard pushes like those seen in rugby.Some would even swing their flailing arms all over the place.

It was really crazy in there,and there were some with bleeding lips and noses.One guy even broke his watch.

Red Jumpsuit performing.It lasted till around 10.30pm.After the concert we were too tired to go anywhere else and headed straight home.

Well,all I can say is that the concert was a big letdown.

Singapore 2009 Day 1

Singapore has always been a favourite tourist destination due to its abundance of shopping and activities.

Thats why Shaun ,Leon and myself decided to head all the way there for Red Jumpsuit Apparatus's Concert!

Since this was the first time I was taking a flight to Singapore,little did I know that it was going to be so freaking short!

As soon as we took off,the flight attendant sold us food and souvenirs.Before we knew it,we were already landing in Singapore.

Wow,compare that with a 5 hour bus ride I used to take.Thank you so much Air Asia.Now truly,Everyone Can Fly! To top it all off,it only cost RM 150 return.

Since we were going to spend most of the time out,we opted for some cheap accomodation.

We scouted the Internet and found this nice cheap place called the InnCrowd hostel located on Dunlop Street.It only cost SGD 20 per night.However,it was a dorm and basically we had to share everything with strangers we barely knew.

Double decker beds in which we slept .It was comfortable and clean.They even had aircon but it will only be turned on from 7pm till 11 am.

The only problem we had was getting in the toilet to shit.It was so damn small,none of us could get in.It was so difficult to get seated with the door closed.And once we were seated,the door was actually touching our knees.

After we settled down ,we went around looking for food!At the receptionist recommendation,we tried out this little Indian Restaurant called Mubarak located just a stones throw from our hostel.
Food was of acceptable quality but nowhere near Malaysian Mamak standards.

This plate of mutton and Vege costs SGD 5.After lunch,we went walking around town looking for things to see and do.

Pretty much nothing to do.Basically buildings and more buildings.

Since we were used to trying Malaysian "Roti Canai",we couldnt help but to try how Singaporean RC tasted like or Roti Prata as Singaporeans like to call it at a nearby stall for tea.

Frankly speaking,they taste exactly the same albeit the "dhal" being a tad too diluted.

After that,at night we headed to Clarke Quay to have a drink.So basically,that is how we spent our 1st Day in Singapore! =)

Lumut

Recently PB Shah Alam had a fun trip in Lumut.And being someone not to miss out on the fun,I decided to drive 200km to have some fun with the rest of the gang.

Lumut is a harbour town and stations the National Navy biggest base on the west coast of Malaysia.

Lumut is a small town, basically a one street town. On the main street, there are local shops, restaurants, banks, a few bars and some of the hotels.

Originally the villagers made their living in the fishing industry. Some of the locals are still fishermen. However, many of the locals work these days in the tourist industry. Others find their work at the nearby Lumut Port.

The journey was long and bumpy since we took the trunk road as it was nearer but one would have to have good overtaking skills since this road was a single lane and overtaking was far from easy.

It took us a good 3.5 to 4 hours to reach our lovely apartment called Marina Cove.Located along the Teluk Batik beach ,it was very easy to locate .The spectacular view from our room.The theme park sits right in front of this apartment.

Mandy looking so happy that we finally made it to Lumut after a long tiring drive there.

The first thing we went after we checked in was to go for a nice relaxing massage.We went looking around and found this massage centre tucked quietly away in a corner of the lobby.

We at first asked how much it would cost,she confirmed RM 100.OK fine,so we had our bodies massaged ,scrubed and had some yogurt put on it.It was fun,it was cool,but waitt!!....

When it came to the bill,surprise surprise there was a 10 % SC and 5 % tax .That totalled up to RM 115! Wtf??!! Since when does this kinda place charge 15 % tax and SC.I have been to countless massage places and this is the first time I am encountering this.

Besides ,Isin't the 10% SC supposed to be included inside the RM 100 SERVICE CHARGE??!!

But we had no choice but to pay since it was done by then.

At the end ,they gave us some tea which sucked big time! So basically this place is not recommended.

After massage,we had our telematches as usual all the way till around 7pm.

By the time the games had ended,we were tired,dirty,sand filled zombies waiting to get back to our rooms.

However,Mandy and I decided to have a dip in the pool but she did not bring her swimming suit.So guess what she did,she just jumped in with her underwear! I was like..

Me : Eh,Mandy you not scared ppl look at your meh?

Mandy : Aiya,look onie mah not touch oso..

At night we had buffet dinner and some lucky draws in which I won a coffee table! Ok ok,enough bragging...

Finally to end the night,what else better to do then to have some nice ,freshly brewed Heineken while singing the night away.

FHM Calender

Of all calenders,my friend decided to give me a FHM calender featuring 12 of the nation's hottest chicks.

So here I am proudly displaying it in my room.

There are 12 chicks in this calender but my favourite has to be the October girl called Eve Ng.Her smile is as sweet as sugar and she is just so cute and adorable.
